Nigeria at 65: SSI Reaffirms Commitment to Nation-Building Through Faith, Social Impact
As Nigeria celebrates another Independence anniversary, faith-based organization Solution Social Initiative (SSI) has joined the chorus of goodwill messages with a call for renewed dedication to nation-building through faith, service, and social responsibility.
In his Independence Day reflection, Prophet Efe Cyril Edah, Director of SSI, emphasized that true freedom is not only political but also spiritual and social. “As a people, our liberty must reflect in the way we live, the justice we uphold, and the hope we inspire in the next generation,” he said.
SSI, which operates as the social impact arm of Solution Prayer Power Divine Ministry, has, over the years, aligned its programs with Nigeria’s developmental goals. Its interventions in education, women and girls’ empowerment, community sensitization, and anti-human trafficking campaigns resonate with the government’s drive toward inclusive growth and social stability.
Prophet Edah noted that faith-based organizations must go beyond the pulpit to demonstrate the practical dimensions of their faith. “Our prayers for Nigeria are powerful, but our actions must follow suit. Through SSI, we have chosen to be active partners in building communities, nurturing young minds, and standing against societal ills that hinder our nation’s progress,” he said.
This year’s Independence message from SSI balances gratitude and responsibility. While celebrating Nigeria’s resilience as a united people, the organization stressed that citizens must embrace integrity, service, and accountability as core values.
“Independence reminds us of the sacrifices of our heroes past. As a faith-based body, we believe Nigeria’s future is bright when every citizen contributes to nation-building with sincerity and purpose. SSI will continue to uphold its commitment to empowering people, strengthening families, and fostering peace in line with national development objectives,” Prophet Edah affirmed.
In closing, the organization extended heartfelt wishes to all Nigerians: “May God’s grace abound over our land, and may Nigeria rise in righteousness, prosperity, and peace.”
