SSI to Launch Empowerment Program for Youths and Women in Elele
Solution Social Initiative (SSI), the social impact arm of Solution Prayer Power Divine Ministry, has unveiled plans to host a one-day empowerment program for youths and women in Elele community, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The program, themed “Youth and Women Empowerment through Skills, Education and Faith,” is aimed at addressing unemployment, poverty, gender vulnerability, drug abuse, cultism, and irregular migration among young people and women in the area.
According to SSI, the initiative will provide participants with practical knowledge in skills acquisition, educational opportunities, and faith-based mentorship.
The one-day workshop will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and breakout sessions on vocational skills, education access, women’s empowerment, and moral reorientation. Between 100 and 150 participants, including youths, widows, single mothers, and community leaders, are expected to attend.
SSI noted that discussions are ongoing with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rivers State Chapter, for partnership in the mobilization and implementation of the program.
“We believe churches are trusted platforms to reshape values, mentor young people, and support sustainable community transformation,” the organization stated.
The initiative is expected to lead to the establishment of Youth and Women Empowerment Desks in local churches and strengthen community resilience against poverty, crime, and exploitation
